T&T Homestay

Frokosten var ganske enkel men god.

Friendly owner, location walking distance to beach and some warungs, scooters for rent at the homestay itself. Bit away from the street so no loud traffic noises.

Room was not very clean; when putting on the fan (no aircon in room) plaster from the wall falls on the bed. Also had some small animal poo on the bed twice. Breakfast not always on time so when you have an early morning appointment there’s a chance to go without eating first.

SERIOUSLY CONSIDER BOOKING ANOTHER PROPERTY OTHER THAN THIS ONE. This property should not be listed on Booking.com. Absolute lack of maintenance and in an unacceptable state. Did NOT pay backpackers rate as booking was for MotoGP weekend. Paid over AUD $1500 for 3 rooms. Stayed 1 night and left early the next morning due to filthy rooms, dirty and stained bed linen and mould on walls and ceilings. Where the walls had no mould they were stained and unpainted. Wall fan above head/face blew dust and filth over face and pillow during the night. Toilet was missing top cover and had to be flushed by putting hand in dirty water. Even though we had past the FREE cancellation date and had paid booking.com AUD $1500 the property was so disgusting that we chose to forfeit the money and pay for new accommodation. All other properties were sold out due to MotoGP so we spent time going from property to property searching for rooms, instead of being at the racetrack. The family were forced to split up and take one night's accommodation here and there. I understand T&T is a Homestay and not a 5 star hotel, I get that, but, refer to the photos on the review and you be the judge! We could have looked beyond the rat problem, however we could not ignore the lack of the basic standards of hygiene. When we told the owner we were checking out, he thought it was funny and laughed hysterically and gave the impression that we were not the first guests to vacate early..... and I do not think we will be the last as one other guest not from our group was also considering leaving. Seriously, even backpackers rates are overpriced. Thank you T&T for your dishonesty and misleading photos of the property!! Well done!!! AND if anybody wonders why they show so many photos of the banana pancakes, it is because they dare not show the rooms!! Unable to comment on the banana pancakes as we were long gone before breakfast was served. ZERO STARS.

Als je Lombok bezoekt, moet je gewoonweg hier logeren! Iedereen is super aardig , behulpzaam en de accommodatie is echt geweldig! Je kan een scooter huren - er is ontbijt bij inbegrepen. Iedereen helpt je!

We did not enjoy searching and paying for new accommodation due to the below: We did not like the thick mold growing on the interior walls (2 x rooms) We did not like the stained bedding (2 x rooms) We did not like the filthy rooms (2 x rooms) We did not like the old fans above head end of bed that dropped rust and dust build up over face whilst sleeping (2 x rooms) We did not like the fan rust and dust in our hair, face and on bedding (2 x rooms) We did not like the toilet that had no cistern cover - had to put hand in foul water to make it flush (1 x room)

De gastheer en zijn vrouw zijn super. Heel vriendelijk, niets is te gek! Ze helpen je om je volgende avontuur te kiezen bijvoorbeeld surfles, rinjani beklimmen of de komodo tour. Je kleren worden gewassen als je hierom vraagt en netjes gestreken en opgevouwen bij je kamer afgeleverd. Verder is de locatie top, net buiten Kuta en kan je ‘s ochtends met de andere gasten van een bananenpannekoek met koffie genieten.

Kamers zijn wat warm en als je niet oplet stelen aapjes je spullen ;)

Nous avons été parfaitement accueilli par Talim et sa famille, ce sont des personnes qui savent prendre soin de leur hôte, le petit déjeuner était également bon. Je recommande !!
