Sesimbra is a very nice place of Portugal. The house is in a quiet, residential, high class neighborhood. We enjoyed the stay very much.

An amazing location, near the countryside and the beach. A very modern house, with a fantastic garden and swimming pool, a great terrace with views to the mountains, tastefully decorated. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning with the silence and the singing of the birds. Dusko, the house owner, was a fantastic host and gave us lots of travel tips - places to see, like the nearby castle, history, traditional food.

Everything was exceptional.

The location is very good, there is a park nearby with a gorgeous smell of pine needles. You can walk. This is where the positive aspects end.

The booking indicated that a separate villa with a swimming pool, with a total area of 60 meters, is for rent. In fact, these are two very small rooms in a large house with very good audibility, since the walls are made of cardboard. When booking, it was supposed to be a secluded pastime with a private pool, and in fact, besides us, 8 other people lived in this house on different floors. This so-called villa is actually a converted garage in the house with the resulting consequences of the location of the pump from the pool, which was turned on every 15 minutes both day and night, it terribly interfered with sleep, since it is located right next to the head. It's very dirty, there's garbage everywhere, dirt, hair, towels are terrible, linen is terrible, the mattress is very old, creaky and it's impossible to fully rest on it. The owner does not like criticism, he wrote that they should not write to him with questions, because he is busy. Booked for 15 days and it was the worst vacation of all until today. They were from August 22, 2023 to September 7, 2023. Deception in the description of the villa, I do not advise anyone to stop here. Worst case scenario
