The Dragon's Hut with seasonal swimming pool

Amazing few days getaway in the Dragon"s Hut!.. So quiet and peaceful. Host John couldn't be more friendly or helpful and sent clear instructions as the place is in the middle of the countryside. The hut's underfloor heating was incredible and although we went in Early May - one night was a tad chilly and wet so this was welcomed.. Would highly recommend for a cosy snuggle holiday with that special someone. Plenty of local restaurants to drive to and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is well worth a visit.

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect for my partner's birthday and we both had a relaxing few days away together.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful, lovely place and the owner is nice and helps with anything, well worth the money. Lots to do nice waterfalls 20min drive.

Quiet and cosy, the views were stunning, especially sunset over the hills from the hut. John was so welcoming and friendly, he gave us Cole for a bbq and offered a late checkout which was perfect for us. The outside space and bbq is great with lots of adventures on site for children. There were some amazing public footpath walks from the location, it’s also very close to Llangollen which is an amazing place to visit! We will definitely be returning!

Lovely area to stay, the hut was warm and comfortable, great host. Very relaxing stay here, comfy bed and great shower for a shepherds hut.

The huts are very close to each other. Very boggy in wet weather but that can't be helped.

Everything, except signal is TERRIBLE. HOWEVER... To make up for it they do have DVDs to watch ((so if you have any, bring them!)). Signal is temperamental so it does work but for the life of me I wouldn't rely on it. The owner, "John" helped me set up my fire because I didn't know how, it's a log burner so that's how the room is heated. Got to buy your own logs, firelights and kindling BUT you can buy a set from here (also the town supermarkets sell it all). It's got views and is "away from everything" enough to have that kind of getaway. Absolutely will come back if I can! Neequaye

Lovely little hut easy access very clean and comfortable, took my own camping stove as didn't see a hob on the pictures, was a perfect couple of days away will be back again

Window at the end of the bed letting in a draft, feet got quite cold through the night, It's down to the wet weather an wood swelling but this was my only problem I could find if I'm being picky needs a draft excluder on

The hut is lovely and cosy especially when we lit the log burner. John is very friendly and helpful and it's a beautiful area to stay in.
