My friend Colleen and I had the pleasure of staying with Emiliano, and he’s the angel that we never thought we needed. I have to first say that even before we arrived, Emiliano contacted us to checkin and coordinate times to let us in. We had missed our train and were delayed and he was kind and understanding. We had been traveling from Arezzo, to Florence, and then to Bologna. I’m also 6 months pregnant so traveling has been a bit slower for me. When he arrived he had us take the elevator while he climbed up 4 flights of stairs to open the door for us. From there, he showed us our apartment which was immaculate, well decorated and adorned with some of the best appliances. I felt so much better after a warm shower with a soft rain shower head. He’s also thought of everything from a hairdryer, washer, extra towels, coffee/teas, and even compost. His home was a lovely afternoon reprieve after a long day of exploring the beautiful town of Bologna. On the last day we asked for a late checkout and he was so accommodating. Our flight had changed from Bologna to Forli due to a local strike and we had read the time wrong since it was in military time. Emiliano not only agreed to meet us early, arriving within 10 minutes, but he also offered to drive us to the train station. This man is a true angel and there’s no way we would have made our flight without him. Every once in a while the universe surprises you, and graces you with incredible kindness and that was Emiliano. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are beyond grateful we had such an amazing host.

We had an amazing holiday in Italy and Bologna, and our super host made it even better! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was close to bus stops and was easy to get to the city center. Our host was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this place.
