Villa Alam Biru II

Such a great Villa. Spacious and serviced every couple of days which was unexpected. Pool was a bonus and a quiet spot. Anggun easy to chat to and always responded to our queries. Great little restaurants nearby. Our group of 6 loved it.

Was a bit of a walk to the beach which was fine for our group but might not be for all.

The size and location

The decor needs updating in the bathrooms

Very accommodating owner and staff. The place could use some small renovation (mainly water damage on walls), but that was not a problem for us. Very private and well organised space. Clean and well taken care of. We definitely recommend!

Villa could have been good but it was totally run down and discusting all the walls were mouldy and paint was falling off there was no furniture or paintings in the bedrooms it was totally in a state of disrepair the pool was the only saving grace

Location quiet, the lounge/kitchen layout. The provision of drinking water was very useful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good size rooms, enough space at the table to acomodate everyone together. Lovely pool area to cool down and swim in after walking back from the beach.!

Maybe an extra sunbed and drying racks for your clothes, but that's all really!

Great layout, with four teenagers providing their own room with bathroom was fantastic. Location is good at the end of the lane and quite private.

Only offer Room service every 3 days, extra towel changes would be good. A dresser in the rooms for extra storage, the rooms are huge and only consist of a bed and two bedsides, extra fan in the outdoor area would be appreciated by guests

Good location. The villa was not too far from eateries, shopping and beach - all within walking distance. The host was very responsive and accommodating to any requests we made and staff were lovely. The pool was always a welcome relief after coming back from an outing or if we just needed to cool off in the heat.

I feel it would be a lot more comfortable for guests if there was an awning in front of the open kitchen/lounge area which could be pulled either up or down. That area can get quite hot and in the mornings the sun streams right through there. Also, a permanent free standing or another overhead fan in that area would be ideal. Another suggestion would be to put some sort of seating in the bedrooms. To the owner/host - the photos shown on the websites are not as the villa is right now. I feel they may have been taken when the villa was new. This can be deceiving to people who are looking at booking the villa and I would suggest you replace these photos with new ones of how the villa is looking now. I myself, was a little put out when I realised this.

Everything was amazing, great location and lots of room for my family of 4, pool was clean and tv was up to date.

Very pleasant house in a good location. A real holiday feel and a very attentive host.

Nothing really, the bathrooms are open to the outdoors so we made night encounter with a supersized gecko! But that’s part of the adventure ;)
