Felt very private even though it was basically in a back yard in a stand of bamboo- the hot tub was nice- took a while to heat up though.

The location was beautiful, private, quiet but close to restaurants and Cidra city center. You could get by without a car, if you don't mind walking a few miles a day. The climate in January was lovely-- just warm enough, not too hot. The city is friendly with excellent food options. The restaurant list provided to us was very helpful. The inside space is plenty for two people and the outside space is heavenly-- a bamboo stand creates total privacy and a lovely little dock with a bench provided a soothing and gorgeous place to sip coffee and watch birds, fish, and turtles. The parking was very convenient. We didn't try the jacuzzi but it seemed functional.

The shower never got very warm. We found three separate scented plug-ins in the very small cabin, creating an uncomfortably cloying atmosphere until we took them out. The internet dropped out on two different days, including our checkout day, making planning more difficult. We were surprised by a few things-- we didn't get critical information (like the exact address) until four minutes before check-in time. Only one of the kitchen faucets produced water. All of our contact with the landlord was by text and quite terse. When I tried to respond to a helpful email a few weeks before our stay, Booking.com said that the property was not reachable by email.

A bit “off and away” from many things to do.

The cabin is in a beautiful location. It is very private and you have your own access to the water. In the outdoor area there is a jacuzzi (very clean) where you can relax. The cabin is nicely decorated and cozy: decorated for Christmas and also Christmas music was playing. It's a good place to relax and enjoy nature. About 5 minutes by car you can reach a supermarket or there are also many restaurants in town.

There is nothing missing in this place... it just lacks hours in the day to enjoy this experience. The photos are accurate but seeing it is another experience.
