GBI was so pleased to find a 2 bedroom apartment just where we needed. The kitchen appliances and the surface areas were clean. As was the bedding and towels. The sink toilet and bath also clean. Which are essential when renting your property out. Its a good space very open. Paintwork was good. No cobwebs which i would have not been bothered by, unlike the black in bathroom and the dust. Roof seating is OK. Beds could definitely be more comfortable. Low score for comfort, folded quilt in half and slept on top of it. Glad I took my own quilt and pillow. Plenty of places to get food. We used the bakery, Loaf, and morrison's.
I spoke to the owner about these issues I'm raising and was thanked for my feedback. I also sent pictures. The fact that other areas of the apartment were not clean. Bathroom black in Toothbrush holder, on the tiles in shower/ bath window, and black all around the seal. Small kitchen shelves and objects covered in dust also the cooker hood and filter grease and dust. Dishwasher no tablets no bowl to wash pots in. Living room electrical cables and extension a hazard. All window sills dusty, tops of pictures and doors. When you have allergies its something that you notice as it can trigger your problems. Especially if sensitive to dust. Floor mop was very dirty. This property needs what we call a good bottoming, spring clean. You can smell damp in the entrance to the property. It was raining when we left and the join in the guttering had a heavy drip right in the middle of the door. Hence got wet. I hope the owner will take action on these things, and not just thank me for feedback. If the comfort and cleanliness was a higher score I would definitely stay again. However unless things could be proved different I wouldn't stay again.

The stairs could do with a proper handrail to access the first floor.

Parking was at a premium. People parking in disabled spaces without a permit . No plugs for kitchen sink or bath made thinks awkward had to purchase a washing up bowl for the kitchen sink and a plug for the bath which didn't fit too well. Stairs were very steep with no handrail for safety.
GBThe accommodation is spacious and perfectly located for shops, food and drink, country walks and beautiful scenery. The host was readily available to answer any questions.
Very minor negative is the property is situated on a high street which can be noisy from very early in the morning to late at night. If you're sensitive to this, be prepared for that. The property is comfortable but well used. May benefit from a little update, but for the price, it's great for what you pay.
