S V homestay

The location is good, which is about 10 minutes walking to the lake and the main temple. The room is big and has nice views to Kandy. There is also some basic facilities to cook or wash your clothes. The host was friendly, welcomed me warmly and very nice.

The internet was not always available. The host did recharge it when it was not working.

What a beautiful place in kandy ❤️ A large, quiet room with a balcony including a stunning view over the City, still you are in the centre with a 10-15 minute walk. The Unit offers hot water (and in general a really good shower), WiFi, even a kitchen, a super big and comfortable bed and a Washing machine. I felt like home the moment i stepped in. The host is incredible kind and heartwarming. Thank you for everything 🥰

We had such a great stay at VS homestays. The host was fantastic - gave us great recommendations, sorted us dance show tickets and let us use th washing machine and borrow a saree for no extra charge. The location was really central, amazing views over Kandy

Das Personal ist unglaublich! Sie sind freundlich, zuvorkommend, rücksichtsvoll und hilfsbereit. Ob es sich um Hilfe bezüglich Planung in Kandy, spezielles Waschmittel, Gewürze zum Kochen, Getränke oder sogar Angelegenheiten bezüglich Dokumente anging, war das Personal immer zur Stelle. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet. Außerdem kann man auf dem Balkon einen schönen Morgen-Tee mit einer wundervollen Aussicht Richtung weißen Buddha genießen.

Grundsätzlich haben wir mehr Mücken erwartet. In der ersten Nacht hatten wir keinen Mückenbesuch. In der zweiten Nacht allerdings schon. Wir hatten kein Moskitonetz. Wir haben es nicht angesprochen, vielleicht hätte sie eine Lösung gehabt.

- Perfect location, only 15 minutes from the city centre/Kandy lake by walking (as it is uphill, you'll also get some work out ;)) - Lovely hostess & family - felt warmly welcome & at home immediately - Beautiful view and balcony/terrace!! - Clean and comfortable overall = Highly recommend for exploring Kandy

- The monkeys & dogs can be a bit loud during the mornings but I didn't find that a problem :)

Au 2e étage, rien que pour nous, une immense chambre avec un coin cuisine et une terrasse donnant sur la plaine de Kandy. À 15 minutes à pied du centre-ville. Idéal pour des voyageurs indépendants. Le dernier soir, l’hôtesse nous a gentiment offert un des meilleurs repas que nous ayons dégustés au Sri Lanka.

Tôt levés par le bruit des singes sur le toit. Plutôt amusant que gênant.

Ella es encantadora!! Es atenta, simpática y te ayuda con todo lo que necesites. Hace muy buenas recomendaciones locales, nos encantó el sitio para comer!!! El lugar el maravilloso, las vistas geniales y mucha calma (menos cuando están los monos con sus juegos, que como somos de fuera nos pareció muy divertido). Volveríamos sin duda!!! Muchas gracias por todo!!!
