Oak Cottage - Perfect for Golfing, Walking & Relaxing

What a wonderful find. We had an amazing 3 night stay at Oak cottage. It has everything you could possibly need. It is also very conveniently located. The cottage was spotless and beautifully furnished. We were so comfortable and had a really relaxing time. We stayed in April and as the nights were a bit chillier than the days, the log burner and complimentary logs were a wonderful touch. We really loved this and it really made the stay special. Megan the host was very helpful and provided loads of useful information. A welcome basket including wine and biscuits was left for us and we thought this was an amazingly thoughtful touch. While we stayed here we managed to explore the beautiful local town and countryside during the day, and have lovely relaxing evenings in the cottage. Would 100% recommend.

Could not find any fault

The property was spotless, and the host kindly left a welcome bottle of prosecco, some welsh cakes and biscuits, which was really welcome after the long drive! The communication from the host was excellent. There was a small problem with the electrics during my stay but the host was very prompt to fix the issue. The property was a short drive from Abergavenny and easy to find.

The kitchen was well equipped but it would have been useful to have more than one saucepan.

The cottage is amazing, with beautiful furnishings. It was very clean and equipped with all needed for self-catering. The wedding was so comfortable and warm, so our sleep was very good. There is floor heating and a log burner. The host was very friendly , kind, and helpful. Everything was excellent. I strongly recommend Oak cottage to visit, being one extraordinary property with its location and interior.
