I liked the position of the property, the overall cost/quality, the interaction with the owner. Also appreciated the cleanliness. Then, obviously, I liked very much Porto and its surroundings and could recommend April as a very good period to visit this city.

I would guess that the owner should eventualy learn some basic English, as it would help him communicate easier. He struggled with a translation application on his phone and succeeded, but took him some time :) The room we took was at the ground floor and the window is facing the street directly, while it is paved with cubic stone. Moreover, one house in the close vicinity is in construction / re-building or so. Both those 2 issues led to some noise starting at 7am... somehow anoying. I assume the soundproofing of the window would solve the issue.

Très bon accueil . Matelas très confortable. Aimé l appartement par son style bien Portugais du Porto.
