Tan-Nanna by Shmoo, Sliema Ferries

Super convenient place to reach Valeta, huge apartments and very welcoming owner who helped us a lot to ensure nice stay.

The apartment was clean and spacious with the added benefit of a fabulous location - everything was our door step - busses, ferries restaurants and shops I would definitely return

The location was absolutely fantastic, and the host was very responsive. My friend wanted a duvet, and one appeared with extra blankets very quickly, which was great. The property was clean, nicely furnished, and appealing, with a nice view. It was pretty quiet - I didn't hear other people in the building at all, and closing the windows blocked out most of the noise from tourists on the streets even in the living room, and it was basically silent in the bedrooms. I slept really well. The bed and couch were comfortable, and it was really nice to have two bathrooms. The host was really clear about logistics, with messages sent at just the right times, and happy to answer our questions about them. The wifi worked well and had an easy to type/remember password. We were only metres from the nearest restaurants, and ones we tried like Hammett’s Monastik had really nice food and enjoyable mocktails. We also barely had to do more than cross the street to book a day cruise to Gozo and Comino and catch the ferry for it! A few minutes walk away, sitting on the rocks looking at the water at Qui-si-sana beach was absolutely captivating, with stunning blue and emerald shades. Afro Deli had delicious food within an easy walk as well, and Coffee & Strangers did nice specialty coffee. There were also tons of little shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies, so it was really easy to buy everything from water and groceries to suntan lotion. I can't overstate how convenient the location was - most things we wanted were available within 10-700 metres. It was a nice base for visiting Valetta by taxi (the ferry was cancelled due to rough weather the day we'd decided to do it). Valetta was absolutely worth visiting and great for museums, but we were really glad we'd decided to stay in Sliema.

The balcony was small enough we didn't end up using it, and the second shower was a little bit cramped, but perfectly usable. Carrying water bottles up or down the hill was always a bit of a workout - even as someone who was fine with the tap water in Tenereife, I struggled a bit with the taste of the tap water in Malta, although it was drinkable and safe. A few minor amenities were ok but a little at odds with how nice the rest of the property was, like the toilet paper and the shampoo/body wash provided - but they were fine, and it was a nice touch to provide them at all - and given how responsive and awesome the host is, this small point will probably be outdated by the time anyone reads this review (and probably would have been during the stay itself if we'd said anything!).

Appartement très bien rénové , très propre . L’accès à La Valette est très facile avec le ferry à 3 minutes.

Früheren Checkin ermöglicht, Schlüsselübergabe kontaktlos mit Schlüsselbox gut geklappt, gute Anweisungen! Sehr sauber, alles vorhanden. 2 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils Badezimmer gut aufgeteilt, jeder hatte Privatsphäre! Zentrale Lage, alles gut erreicht!

Nur ein kleines Detail, Samstag Nacht war es anfangs etwas unruhiger/hellhörig, wahrscheinlich durch Lokal um die Ecke? Aber die restlichen 3 Nächte waren ruhig!
