Nada mas llegar, ya vinieron una hora tarde a darnos las llaves. Tuvimos que esperar hasta las cuatro y media, cuando pagamos para entrar a las cuatro. El edificio parece la casa del terror y el apartamento deja mucho que desear. En una de las duchas sale el agua hirviendo. El aire acondicionado se apaga solo, por la noche casi morimos asfixiadas. Decepcionante.

The entrance hall is atrocious. Falling down. While waiting for the key we enquired in the hotel next door if they had rooms available! The apartment is tiny. Anyone over 210lbs will not fit in the showers. The bottom sheet on one of the beds was not clean. otherwise everything was clean. NO WI-FI. In this day and age, Wi-Fi is like electricity. It is a necessity.

This place has only one positive thing, its location. It is literally three minutes away from the metro station "La gran via". But I really recommend you not to go to this place, unless you don't have money or you don't value your life.

First, it is a refurbished flat in a real old building. There is no receptionist, neither security. When we arrived to the property, I called over the phone and they mentioned that actually I have to pick up the keys from a hostel 5 minutes away from the apartment. Luckily, they brought the keys. Second, the building is ancient, the walls are damaged and almost falling, and the walls are made with paper, you can hear all the conversations from the neighbours. On our second night, a neighbour started shouting and hitting the doors in the building, shouting "you are going to pay me back b****". As we did not feel safe, we called the police, but the police couldn't come because we didn't know the number of the property, I contacted the host, but they didn't provide the information. Lucky the police come anyway, but it was too late, and the troublemaker was gone. So the police couldn't catch him and we didn't know the guy will come back. Next day, after contacting booking and the owner several times, they relocated us in the hostel, but I don't know what was worse. It is a pity I can't upload all the photos we have taken about broken or damaged stuff in the place. It looks like they haven't done maintenance in the place in over 10 years. On top of that, despite what is advertised, there is no WiFi in the property, I called and emailed the host several times asking for the information to connect to the internet but I haven't been lucky and the information they have provided doesn't match with any available network. The rooms have no windows at all, and the light switches don't work properly, if you turn off the light from the bed, then you can't turn it on with the switch next to the door. Finally, when taking a shower, the hot water last less than 5 minutes. After that time, the water is freezing. And they don't provide neither shampoo nor soap.
