Modernised home with 2 bedrooms in Cardiff

The spacious house, the extra toilet downstairs and the dishwasher. Comfy bed & duvet. Great to have the added bonus of the dishwasher. The parking space was very much welcomed.

I was in Wales for my daughter’s wedding and this house was just around the corner from where she lives. So, a perfect location and easy to find and park outside. The property was clean and contained everything we needed for our stay - a very well equipped kitchen and bathroom and a pleasant sitting room and dining area. My son and his 4 year old stayed in one room and I in the other - both comfortable beds . We were kept very well informed about every aspect of our stay and I had no doubts that if anything went awry the owner would be quick to respond. Fortunately, it didn’t!

This house is quite simply WONDERFUL. Decorated to a very high standard indeed Quality Bathroom upstairs and quality cloakroom/toilet downstairs. Kitchen is Immaculate. Get a number 61 bus into Cardiff. House is 1.4 miles from the Sofia Gdns Cricket Ground Free parking had no hassle Great communication via WHATSAPP and very helpful owner. Milk was provided in fridge and tea + coffee available. All kitchen appliances avaiable. Air Frier, Washing machine Dishwasher Microwave

There should be a permanent outside light on where the key box is kept. The box is at knee height and Dark at night. On entry to kitchen I could not find the light switch because its not in the kitchen. I had to use my iphone torch and also texted the owner who responded immediately. There is no downstairs reception / sitting room. Just a kitchen and hallway: but to be honest, I did not need one. Bed was a bit springy. Both bedrooms are very small.

The living and dining room is very spacious and spotless. I liked that there are board games. We enjoyed jenga and guess who! We also put a Harry potter puzzle together, me and my son. The bedrooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. Bath and separate shower. Down stairs toilet.

I'm not a big fan of the dark kitchen, but everyone has their own taste. I find that gloss shows up too many dirty marks. It is hard to maintain unless you have excellent cleaners with a fine eye for detail. Chrome on light switches is similar. To have a high standard, polishing is recommended. Recycling is very important. We didn't know what to do about this, so we left it to the cleaners to deal with. Couldn't see a food bin caddy. Could do be with some TLC, then this home would be impeccable. Wish the owner all the best for the future. A greeting host would be amazing also. To build connections.

The house was absolutely gorgeous. Very clean and tidy. Felt homely and was very comfortable..the house was big which was great as the kids were able to have space. The hosts even left board games for the kids. Which I thought was lovely. Kept them busy In the evenings. House is close to city centre 15min drive away. The area the house is located was nice and quite, shops a 5 min walk up the road. Alot of things near by for the kids to do. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I'll definitely be back. The location was perfect for a young family. Easy drive of the city centre.
