Best place to relax while having a breathtaking view

Het was echt een heel erg fijn verblijf! Host hielp ons echt heel erg goed om alles te regelen. Ride naar de watervallen was zo geregeld en het ontbijt en taxi naar volgende locatie was zo geregeld. Bed lag echt heerlijk en had zelfs een tv erbij. Kamer was erg schoon en badkamer met warme en goede douche. Ella was 5-10 min lopen langs het spoor en goed bereikbaar. Kamer had een heel mooi uitzicht en we waren heel erg tevreden. Zeker een aanrader

Such a beautiful cottage with two storeys, 1 bed on each floor. All areas of the room were clean and tidy. Excellent air conditioning on both floors. The view is absolutely beautiful of the mountain and train passing by, with a swing to sit and enjoy. The family who run the accomodation were very friendly and kind and had great communication on WhatsApp if you had any questions or needed help. Breakfast included with bread, roti, eggs, pancakes, fruit, juice, tea or coffee. Brilliant. 10 minute walk into town via the railway tracks. Very quiet location. If I ever came to Ella again I would consider staying here again. Thank you so much!!

It’s not the property’s fault, but whilst it is an easy 10 minute stroll to the Main Street of town down the train tracks (be aware of times train is coming to not be near the tracks), it is a long walk if you go via the main drive way/road to hotel and pitch black at night so some may not feel comfortable walking especially if on their own. Consider walking with others or better a tuktuk at night which is easy/affordable. It would be great if they had more street lights. I was able to take a tuktuk ride from the owner himself at night time for a small fee which was appreciated. The property drive way is also very narrow for cars but there is turning area.

Delightful accommodation with an amazing view and a chill vibe. There was a swing outside my room that immediately made me feel relaxed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had amazing shower facilities: 4 different options! Breakfast was delicious. Tharakar, who manages the place, is quiet but helpful and takes feedback and suggestions very seriously. Walking to Ella Rock was a bit shorter from this location. Getting to the main Ella street was a 10-minute walk along the railway tracks, which is an interesting experience.

My fault: I booked two rooms but didn't realise that one of the rooms did not have air-conditioning. Please check the options carefully if air-conditioning is as important for you as it is for my friend and me.

Fantastisk utsikt. Kort gåtur til sentrum av Ella. Vi ønsket at vi hadde vært der mer enn 1 natt.

Le logement est très propre, beau et confortable. Le vue est incroyable! Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux, avec des petites attentions particulières pour les enfants. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans le cottage. Nous recommandons ce logement!

Gorgeous cabins with an incredible view in an excellent location - perfect for my family of six (two adults downstairs, four kids upstairs in the family suite, extended family in the cabin next door). A short walk down the railway tracks meant it was a little quieter than town but an easy walk to restaurants and facilities, yet the birdlife and the views were spectacular. The host family is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Water was a bit cool in the showers in the morning but it’s in the mountains so understandable, and it is warm so no problem to
