SETurckheim is a very nice little settlement in the heart of the Alsace region on the Route de Vin. This auberge is situated right in the middle of the village surrounded by century old half-timbered houses, restaurants and merchants of wine. If you like wine, this is the place to be. The hotel is really genuine and offers a calm place to stay i Turkheim, even if it's situated in the center of everything. Thanks to thick walls and a lovely garden at the rear of the house, you hardly realize that you're placed in the very midst of the village. If you would like to stay in a traditional setting and close to all that Turkheim has to offer, this will live up to your wishes. Rooms are simple, but include everything you need, even a mini-TV on the wall and a bottle of water (very nice). The bed was great and the breakfast is simple but ok.
Really nice host that offered us a glas of wine in the garden as compensation, since our room was not finished at 3 pm. The parking is basically free, but at some days the main square is closed for parking due to the open marked, so you have to park at the far end of the village, which is pretty far away. Leave your luggage at the hotel and then find your parking spot. It's hard to park in front of the hotel, since it is located in the narrow main street, so make it quick and then bolt.
DEEin schönes altes ehrwürdiges Haus, schön restauriert und doch modern mitten in der schönen Altstadt von Turckheim. Ein junges Team, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal! Das Abendessen war sehr gut und hatte schon fast „Sterne Qualität“. Am Morgen gab es ein sehr gutes Frühstück, welches keine Wünsche offengelassen hat! 👌 Wir kommen sehr gern wieder. Die Zimmer haben eine gute sehr gute Größe, im Bad gibt es eine Dusch + Badewanne, das Bad ist sehr geräumig.
FRDEVon unserem Zimmer hatten wir einen Ausblick auf die pittoreske Hauptgasse. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber neu renoviert. Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Restaurant war erstklassig. Charmanter und schneller Service. Unsere E-Bikes durften freundlicherweise wir in einer Ecke des Hofes überdacht abstellen. Dort war auch Strom zum Laden.

Lidt varmt på værelset, men vi har altid vores egen ventilator med på B&B så det hjalp på varmen
