CHILL HOUSE by the beach

We were drawn to Chill House by the photos that promised private beach access and a tranquil getaway. We intended to stay for a few nights The location is not directly on a beach but next to rocky shores where the ocean meets the land. The photos suggested private beach access, but the beach was not private at all. The balcony had fake grass that became unbearably hot during the day, and there was no shade and the balcony isn't very private. While it’s a peaceful spot with many fishing boats and locals around, it felt quite isolated. There were no shops or cafes open nearby, which made it very difficult to find food or supplies. This isolation was a major drawback for us. We walked about 2km into town. Food delivery services were available and found the location easily - we used this as we didn't find anything open nearby when we first arrived after our long commute The room had many mosquitoes, but there was a mosquito zapper supplied. The bed was by far the hardest we’ve encountered in Vietnam—it honestly felt like sleeping on a rock. The only highlight was the TV, which had Netflix and we aren't usually TV watchers. This location might suit someone looking for complete quiet away from the hustle and bustle, we found it too isolated. After one night, we decided to switch to another location, which offered much better value for money, was closer distance to amenities and a more comfortable experience overall. We wouldn't stay here again and would stay where more amenities are available (if you stay here, recommend you byo snacks, water etc before arriving and use ride services)

The units with the little beach are very tranquill and somewhat quiet and very beautiful view straight over the water with all the fishing boats and great sunset. Scooter hire was great at 130 dong per 24hrs Staff are friendly and communicate very well. My daughter left her hat behind and they found it for her and kept it until we could pick up later. Would stay again if bed were softer and had beach front unit. The other rooms had shared balcony not so good. We had 5 rooms booked and mixed views

Out of the way a little of all the action but grab is cheap. My room in particular was quite noisy as there was a water pump noise going off every 45 second, i ask to move but no other rooms and they couldn't fix the problem moved hotels after 2 nights. The beds are like sleeping on concrete, very very hard.

Clean and comfortable, right by the beach

The room was spacious and there was a nice view of the sea. The staff were friendly with great communication. They were always avaliable to help and could be contactable via whatsapp. Considering the view it is well priced and overall we had a good experience.

The photos of the property are misleading. There is no beach outside the property and our room did not have direct access to the sea. There was a large concrete area below our balcony which was accessible from the street. There would often be locals there in the evenings fishing / socialising loudly. The bed was also very very firm.

View of the sea and sunset was amazing Local area - it’s very much not touristy. Access to the local part of town, for us this was a positive Everything worked in the room and it had everything from the photos, it’s a budget room which maybe doesn’t come across on the photos but they also are an accurate representation! Check in was easy and quick and they stored o ur bags after checkout Having a little kitchenette Aircon worked well

The area in front of the rooms (with the view out) isn’t very private, so anyone in the adjoining rooms can see in if you have your curtains open and also the little sandy bit at the bottom seems to have public access - often locals sat in the hammock and we had a local guy with his toddler visit and hang out outside our room around 6am one morning and the child was crying which was annnoying to wake up to! No access to the sea which is clear on the website but a shame!

Waking up to this view was a slice of heaven! Special thanks to Di and Vi for their wonderful service. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this great spot 🥰

I absolutely love the stay, I stayed here for 2 nights and I wish I could have stayed longer, the room and view was to perfect. You have near by shops for a quick packed snacks. I would highly recommend this place if you want to spend quite time with family and beat the heat by swimming. Amazing staff no doubt about it. Special thanks to Di, who made the stay even more easy, kind person. Worth every penny ❤️

No safe in the room Sink was leaking Was not near any town centre. Had to Grab to get anywhere
