Todo. Lorenza, la anfitriona es muy amable. Te espera con un aperitivo de regalo! Esta a 5 minutos caminando del puente que separa Siracusa de Ortigia. La habitación es muy cómoda. Todo nuevo.

1. One and for most, Lorenza was no doubt the best host we had during our 2 week Sicily trip. She was really responsible for getting to know the arrival time, helping us to secure a parking spot, providing a lot of tourism information, and she even prepared gifts in the room for us. ( if Lorenza you can see this, we finished the prosecco on the beach and the magnet is on our fridge, so I think of and thank you every time I see it.) 2. Location is pretty good, since it is not on Ortigia island but just 7-8 mins walk. Easy walking distance to the church and archeological site as well as ortigia. 3. Free parking just in the street in front of the facility and it was safe for us during 2 nights and half a day. 4. Old building with very new renovation inside. Good and complet facilities.

We absolutely loved walking into into the island of Ortigia. A beautiful place to see archeological sites, spritzers on the sea wall . And exciting plaza’s and churches to tour.

Nothing

The pros: - Comfortable beds - Good size room - Plenty of light - Central location - Small fridge in the room - New bathroom (or newly decorated) - Water and coffee pods available

The cons: - The entrance key was kept together with the electricity key in an awkward keyring that hurt my hands all the time as it had a very annoying bare wire at the end. It couldn't be opened or fixed in any way. This is to avoid that people leave the electricity on while they are out, but it was very annoying having to switch the phone light on to lock the door at night. You have to choose whether to use the door key or electricity key as you can't use both at the same time. - No toiletries, just hand soap (nearly empty) and dish soap. - The kitchen is shared with another room. We had it by ourselves because the other room was empty, but this wasn't clear to me when I booked. - No windows

Entrance is directly to the street. Not a problem at all, but if you have kids and want to let them go out, you may want to consider something else with a balcony or terrace

Everything was fine.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us because it was in a nice, less-touristy neighborhood with lots of restaurants and grocery store within a short walk. It was also very walkable to get to Ortigia and other tourist locales. We had great communication with host throughout!
