Erittäin hieno paikka! Kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Isäntä oli superystävällinen.

Huoneessa oli kuuma, varsin yläpedillä oli tuskaista nukkua. Ilmanvaihto puutteellista.

Location is beautiful, in fact the whole island is stunning. The whole property is done to the highest specification and attention to detail, very clean, very comfortable and warm. The communal spirit is at the essence there, you meet travellers from all walks of life. The property owner, Oliver, is a well travelled, very knowledgeable and passionate man and to meet him was a great pleasure. We would definitely stay there again

Cet ecolodge est superbe, l’emplacement est sublime juste sur la plage et nous avons pu louer des kayak sur la plage. Oliver est très accueillant et sympathique et c’est une belle rencontre, il est passionnant et nous a conseillé de belles balades. Ce lieu est adapté aux personnes ouvertes d’esprit qui sont ok pour discuter avec les autres personnes qui louent une chambre car on partage les espaces communs ( cuisine, salle à manger) et c’est l’intérêt du lieu. D’en faire un lieu convivial. La vie est incroyable et ce lieu est un petit trésor du bout du monde.

Eccezionale! Non ci sono altre parole per descrivere la struttura. Un angolo di pace oltre il circolo polare artico, affacciato su una spiaggia praticamente privata con un'acqua cristallina ed una sabbia bianca inattesa. La struttura è costruita con estremo gusto, in modo pienamente integrato con il paesaggio circostante ed ecosostenibile. La condivisione dei bagni non è assolutamente un problema, essendo di fatto esiguo il numero di stanze. Gli ambienti comuni sono conviviali, puliti e ben tenuti.

Belle maison en bois qui donne sur la plage avec une vue superbe. Nous étions dans la chambre pour 3 personnes qui est petite mais très confortable et très fonctionnelle. Bon point de départ pour se balader sur l’île de Kvaloya

We spent three unforgettable days at Ecolodge Båthuset. This place is much more than a hotel: it’s an ecolodge with a soul. Nestled in a quiet cove with a white sandy beach at its feet, it invites you to plunge into the Arctic waters or set off by kayak from the center next door to explore the islands. The lodge is beautifully designed, simple yet refined, with warm wood everywhere. A large sea-facing terrace is the perfect spot for breakfast. Our room had a breathtaking sea view and bunk beds—compact but cozy—decorated with photos from the owner’s polar expeditions. Shared spaces like the kitchen and living room are generous and welcoming. What makes the experience unique is the spirit of the place. Everything reflects simplicity, sustainability, and a deep love for the Arctic. The owner, a polar explorer who has built a boat on land, welcomes you not just as a guest but as a fellow traveler. Sharing an evening with him and hearing his stories was a highlight of our stay. If you are looking for more than just a bed for the night—if you want an authentic, soulful experience—Ecolodge Båthuset is unforgettable.
