GBThe location
When we arrived there was no answer, the owner appeared after a short wait. She saw us to our tipi which had flooded so half the carpet was soaked as you entered. The owner had put a heater in to try dry it out but didn't offer an alternative room or refund. The floor was dirty with muck, tissue and bobbles. The bed had crisps on. The towels had dirt on. The fridge was on the highest setting and had a jug of frozen milk inside. Cleanliness was not a strong point here. Even with the weather, the decking wasn't cleared of leaves and the paths wasn't very well lit all across the site. The hot tub wasn't clean and didn't work properly. We wouldn't stay here again. Not worth the money for one night and unacceptable to not even offer a partial refund for the state.
GBGBWe stayed in one bedroom chalet at the end of October. The staff decorated our lodge as it was our anniversary- it was really sweet of them - thank you! There was also orange black balloons because of Halloween. I think the location of our accommodation scores 10 out 10- unobstructed view of the hills with some sheep’s grazing on the grass nearby. And you can see no one and nothing else- amazing! The hot tub in the evening was absolutely God send - with its roof and hot temperature when it was raining and cold outside - that was awesome!
The chalet itself - cosy but quite small for family of four , with “interesting” set up of the cooker. But perfectly doable for one night stay, especially if your main method of cooking is BBQ. The main source of heat is the wood burner, so if it’s four of you, that’s right near the sofa bed, which wasn’t perfect, but again doable. The temperature of the hot tub wasn’t hot enough the next morning. When we contacted the staff, we were told it’s probably because we had jets on without using the hot tub - which we didn’t . And that it will warm up soon, but it didn’t really happen.

Very little. Some kind of screening to the left of the hot tub would be great as it’s not quite fully private - perhaps one of those trellis panels with fake greenery would do the trick. Also a couple of hooks outside for hanging robes would be helpful.
GBGBGBLovely farm everything was lovely . Views are amazing . Staff can not do enough for u they were lovely . We stayed in a tipi and it was very nice with the hot tub aswell .

False advertisement as was told I had private hot tub, garden and lodge to find the hot tub was in a conservatory across from the car park and told “it’s private once the windows steam up and it gets dark” then we had no private garden and a room in the big house not a lodge
