Stunning Beachfront House, Herne Bay, Kent

The house was in a wonderful position on the sea front in Herne Bay . The house was spacious and the Christmas decorations were a lovely touch .

One of the double beds was exceptionally hard.

Location was outstanding. Furnishings and facilities provided for every eventuality. Communication and check-in was smooth and easy. A beautiful place.

Beautiful seafront home. Everything we needed for a lovely long weekend shared with friends. Garden was great for our dogs. Saw some beautiful sunsets from the decking. Lorna was very helpful, accommodating our groups needs. Welcome hamper was appreciated Beds were comfortable Kitchen had everything we needed. Check in process was really easy Hampton Inn was a bonus for lovely lunches. Would definitely return.

Definitely nothing to complain about but if I had to say, a downstairs wc would be a bonus

Beautiful house. Friendly and helpful hostess. House was very well equipped and lovely, beautifully clean. The complimentary hamper was a wonderful surprise. 30 min stroll to the town. Great for the dogs, fenced in decking at the front as seen in the photos and a lovely large grass fenced in garden at the back.

Beautiful property, it had everything we needed and more. Perfect for a family or friend’s getaway. The sound of the beach outside your window and the elegance of the house and patio was amazing. Host was attentive and polite, extremely happy overall. I will definitely be coming back.

We loved the location, there is a well stocked shop just down the road for those who don't travel to Herne Bay by car and the fantastic Hampton Inn merely 2 minutes walk away where we ate most days - delicious food - there are also lovely (flat) walks right along the coast into Whitstable if you turn left, or to Margate and beyond on the right, if you have the energy. The property itself is beautiful - you can see a lot of work and love has gone into it and everything has been thought of in the kitchen with tea, coffee, cleaning products, dishwasher tabs all being provided on arrival along with a very thoughtful welcome pack containing bread, croissants, jams, milk and a bottle of wine among other things. There are blankets/covers provided throughout the property so even if things get a little chilly you can wrap up cosy - even the little doggy hotel under the stairs is a marvellous idea and the safe enclosed garden means the property truly is dog friendly - we really enjoyed our stay and send our thanks to the owners for making everything run so smoothly.

Just a couple of suggestions for the owners who I believe are still making improvements to the property; some of the windows need attention/repair, as they don't close properly and also let in draft and noise from the wind coming directly off the sea - it's very atmospheric but noisy at night when you are trying to sleep - also the main steps are a little tricky to climb for anyone with mobility issues - the wall at the right side of the main stairs is loose and the steps are narrow and steep to negotiate without anything to hold onto - there are 3 newer, wider steps leading from the driveway to the newly laid path beside the decking but these don't have a grab rail either so that would be enormously helpful if one could be installed beside either set of stairs. One final suggestion would be a toilet on the ground floor - there are two cupboards in the hallway which may be able to incorporate this, but would definitely be helpful for those with limited mobility.

Location and view are amazing . It is clean and well furnished . Stuff are cooperative

The property was immaculate with lots of space and everything you could need. There were goodies to welcome us which were very much appreciated. The location was wonderful with sea views and great beach walks to cafes and the nearby pier. We had a wonderful trip for our daughter’s graduation in Canterbury - just a short drive away. Champagne on the deck with sunset over the sea was the icing on the cake. We wished we could have stayed for longer ,would love to return.
