Location was great although it might be loud at night

The place wasn’t clean but my standards were high comes to cleanliness. I got bug bites on my feet.

"so dissatisfied and itchy"

location was good

cobwebs and thick dust. upon entering family was immediately itchy. we thought it might be mosquito or bed/couch bugs but turned out to be that the entire place was dirty with thick dust and cobwebs. gave me skin rash and bumps and we were constantly scratching. very disappointed for so much money. linen was available but left in dryer. nothing was folded or set. bedroom side table was a loose tray on a stool that tipped over when anything was placed on it. bedroom nightstand had a light that did not work. the place had food ceiling fans which was great until we saw the half inch thick dust on every fan...one ceiling did not work. could not work fans individually...remotes set every fan the same. if I turned it off in the room, it turned the other fans off as well making everyone hot. bed was okay, but small...think it was a full size for two adults was a bit crammed. we left way before check out because of the itching. I wish we did not check in and drop off bags without checking room. when we returned from sightseeing, it was too late to find another place. just not the cleanliness and fit and finish expected for so much money. i have many more pictures to show lackluster condition. will likely not use booking.com again nor would recommend.

Extremely close to everything, a nice amount of space and the large doors help regulate air flow

There isn't central AC. This was to be expected in a 100+ year old house, so its a very minor gripe

"We got the full Puerto Rico experience"

Cute apartment in Old San Juan complete with a washer/dryer.

These are not critiques but more so to help future guests. The power was out for over 12 hours one day, though this is common in PR. The water was out the following day. There was back-up well water but it was discolored. The location is extremely noisy. Bring your earplugs to get good sleep or stay up and party with the neighbors.
