Seabird at Trearddur Bay

After driving 5 hours to get there we were met with another family moving their stuff in. The owner had somehow not realised he had double booked us. We booked this accommodation 7 months in advance as my son was competing that week there. Due to the event being on, half term and bank holiday, Neither the owner or booking.com could help us further and provide us with an alternative. We had to drive back another 5 hours the same day. Very disappointed child as he then had to cancel competing in the event due to nowhere to stay. One unhappy family. Also, after being told I would get a full refund with booking.com for my fuel also, they gave me a travel credit instead meaning I now have to spend my money with this company again.

Fantastic location. House was spotless.

Lounge area a bit small, not enough sofa space. Only one toilet and shower. Door very difficult to shut (needs fixing).

All bedroom windows locked. Unable to escape in the event of a fire.

Perfect location, property was beautiful and value for money, the bed was expectionally comfy with high quality pillows and bedding, showrr was amazing, hosts accomadated us with early access

The double glazing needs replacing but this costs a lot of money which then reflects on holiday makers so quite understandable the cost of big jobs like that

Heating coming on after midnight. It’s a bit warn in places

The location is superb and has free on site parking. Easy access to Treaddur Bay itself and it's many eateries.The shower is hot and powerful and the towels were soft and fluffy.

As you arrive you are met with overgrown weeds and broken garden furniture. The glass in the front patio door has blown. The locks front and back were very stiff. To the rear again overgrown with weeds, broken garden furniture. The mop and bucket outside the back door were filthy and there was an empty beer can next to them The sofa was rock hard and uncomfortable as was the bed. The kitchen appliances looked like they'd been wiped down with a dirty/greasy cloth. The interior is tired and in need of some TLC.As we travel with our dog we would expect the advert to stipulate dogs not allowed upstairs and not be told on arrival. It was so uncomfortable we left a day early. To top it all we were offered a £75 refund to write a 5 star review. I have photos to back all this up, did offer them to the owners but they didn't take me up on the offer.

Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed great location just a 5 minute walk to beach and restaurants.

Outside and Garden areas could do with updating.
