The Alani at Kona Shores

The apartment itself is very nice and functional, new furniture, very well managed and organized. Very efficient check in and check out, and everything else. Super professional. It’s very convenient to have beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and other amenities which come very handy.

The apartment is in a ground flour of an old building, where you see neighbors walking past while in the kitchen. Even though it’s close to the sea, there is no access to the sea, the pool is tiny and crowded with kids and BBQ area was always occupied (it’s shared by many buildings). There is no outdoor area in the apartment nor any external window where you could see outside (lanai is nice but totally enclosed).

Very clean and spacious. The host thought of everything. Real thought given to the detail, e.g. earplugs in bathroom (for light sleepers), books to read, condiments in the kitchen, beach accessories for use out back.

Our only (small) gripe is that the bedroom fan and AC are noisy. Can live without AC (as too loud), but if fan was fixed then 10/10.

We were here only one night and wish we had been able to stay longer. The property is full of little extras to make your stay a pleasant one. The ocean front pool is really nice. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need, including a private lanai, well stocked kitchen, and even beach chairs. We would love to come back when we can stay a few more days!

The apartment was very clean and modern on the inside. The outside of the building is starting to show its age. Really appreciated the use of the boogie boards and beach chairs. There is a spacious kitchen that was well equipped with modern appliances. The two bedrooms are far enough apart to convey privacy. The screened in lanai was awesome. Loved the pool and the view.

In other places I have stayed there has been a folder/book with information on the property, how things work, what is close by etc...If there is one I never saw it. Would have been helpful.

Super clean and comfortable. Everything is supplied to include a nice pot of coffee for the morning , which was very much needed.

The apartment was clean, but the apartment complex was poor and dated. While Booking.com gave it a 4-star rating, I believe a 3-star rating would be more appropriate. The air conditioning units were extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the building's construction allowed significant noise transfer from upper floors, resulting in a disruptive sleep..

This condo worked perfectly for traveling with my dad. We arrived and were able to check in using the door code and the place was clean with everything we needed including beach supplies (chairs, snorkel etc). It comes with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of space between the two rooms.

This place is right by the beach, and it’s got everything you could ever need. Plus, you get your own parking spot, so no more searching for one. Oh, and guess what? They even sent back the bracelet that my friend left behind!

The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of air conditioning in the living room,.But overall, the place was really well-maintained and looked great!
