Lack of atmosphere outdoor areas neglected - images dont reflect atmosphere - felt as though nobody really cared about the place which is a shame because the location is lovely

Room not up to good condition. Windows old and need repair. Bathroom old and chipped around the bath, needs updating. Overpriced for the condition of the room and hotel. Whole hotel looks a bit scruffy and old. Breakfast should be included for price you are charged.

It was very dated with poor facilities. No chair or desk in the room, no TV fridge was placed on the floor, several bulbs not working making the room very dull. At 6am moving beer barrels around directly o/s bedroom windows.

Noisy people outside in the courtyard until very late. Inadequate shower - just a dribble of water came out of the shower head.
GBRose of York was a short walk away from Richmond Town centre. It is opposite the open meadow with the canal running through. We spent a couple of hours walking around the meadow and down the canal. The room was lovely but didnt have a TV which would have been handy to know when booking. It didnt bother us as we had plans but if we had a spare hour in our room we has no music/TV to watch/listen to. The breakfast was lovely and all the staff were very professional, warm and welcoming!
It didnt have a TV in the bedroom and not enough plug sockets for phone chargers, hair straighteners ect.
