Alberta, the hostess, was lovely, and the property was not only clean, but charming and quirky, which I loved. Lots of places to eat close by, and just a 10-15 minute walk to the main piazza. Really enjoyed my stay!

I arrived later than scheduled due to a train problem and Alberta kindly waited for me even though she was going out and gave me information re. bus and places to eat. Alberta was an excellent host and made me very welcome. The bed was very comfortable.

We found the apartment easily, good route description. Even though it was in the Trafico Limitato zone, we could leave the luggage direct at the door, having an electric car. B&B located at the back of the house and thus very quiet. So nice! Our host was very friendly, explained and helped a lot. The B&B is situated in a very old house. As a result the rooms and kitchen were small. The house was very clean, beds comfortable, simple but good breakfast. Location of the B&B is great, and taking the bike gets you everywhere. Parking could be done close by at acceptable price for a city like Bologna

Size of the room & kitchen: all was small, though in line with description. It took a while to get hot water and we had to remember the host to have breakfast in time. Not a real problem, since everything was arranged for directly then.

Location! Close to everything. Busses stop right outside. Convenience store in front. Cafeteria in the corner. Easy walk to center. The host was exceptional. Great communication. It is a very interesting place that makes you feel like an inhabitant of the city. Breakfast items are provided. Peaceful place.

Just a suggestion. Removing the floor coverings. They match the decoration, but they are slippery.

Great little self-contained ground floor apartment off a small courtyard. Small bedroom has a comfortable bed. Galley kitchen is very well equipped. Big closet. Good bathroom. Whole place is very clean. I see some reviews criticizing the breakfast because the croissants and biscotti are packaged and not fresh from the bakery. Well, it would be impractical for Alberta to go to the bakery early each morning and then distribute the food to the rooms. The packaged baked goods were fine. If you want warm from the bakery oven then go out and buy them, sit in a cafe and pay for them. What I wanted is to be able to have a decent & quick breakfast and get out early to see the sights and beat the crowds without having to spend time and money eating in a cafe. The variety at this BnB is excellent: Cornetti (croissants), bread, a tart or pastry, biscotti. Jams and Nutella. Tea, coffee, sugar. In the fridge there is Orange Juice, milk and yoghurt. Quick breakfast and off you go to see Bologna. Very good security. Quiet, away from the street. The street itself doesn't have anything to offer but the historic district is very close to walk to. Popular area of bars and restaurants less than 10 minutes walk. Bus very close too.

I liked everything.
