Down by the Water by Eden Crest Vacation Rentals

Location was great, house was nice.

The grassy area could have been maintained better. Weeds were grown up around the firepit ,stepped in some holes because they were covered by grass.

The private pool was nice after we cleaned it ourselves. Nothing was provided to us to clean the leaves and bugs out so we did it ourselves.

The property is not well maintained or cleaned properly. We cleaned most of the house upon arrival. Bought bottled water because the water smelled horribly of sulfur. Toilets gross. The Jacuzzi was dirty even after they came out to clean it. Boards on the deck loose and my elderly mom almost hurt herself. Also the worst part was the sink backing up and water coming out of the lower level ceiling. It never got fixed. I looked at multiple properties and prepared a year in advance for this trip. Although my family made the best of it, this was probably one of the worst vacation experiences. I would not advise booking an Eden crest property if this is how they maintain them. It's not worth what I paid. Would love to be refunded.

Lighting did not work in the bathroom. Tap water smelled like sulfur.
