Staying here was absolutely wonderful. The hosts are a true example of Portuguese hospitality. Their dog Kuki was our loyal companion. The hosts make excellent Vinho Verde! Thanks for everything!

The house is located in a beautiful spot in the mountains of Amonde. It has a large garden en lots of space to sit and relax. Beautiful view over the valley. Although the owners live in a separate house on the same property, we had lots of privacy. The pool was spotless, not heated, but warm enough for a refreshing swim. The owners are lovely and helpful. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen has all the equipment that you need. The friendly dog (Cuca) kept us company now and then. The garden is a botanical beauty; with many species of (flowering) plants and trees. The place is a perfect spot to explore the area. The nearest beach and supermarket are a 20 minute drive. Wide and quiet beaches. Recommend taking a taxiboat to the island of Insua (except when you are with kids). The nearby waterfall Cascata do Pincho is also worth a visit.

Nothing really. The first time, the house is a little hard to find, but we recommend taking the N305 for arrival and going via the village for departure. The ramp going up the N305 is very steep and going up, you cannot see traffic coming.
