GBThe cabin was great, well fitted out with everything you would need. A nice touch of a bottle of wine left for us to enjoy. Fenced garden was great for our two wee pups… It was a quiet and peaceful location. Warm and cosy and the log burner was just lovely in the dark evenings.

GBThe cabin was really cosy & well fitted out. It was just the right size for 2 of us and our 2 dogs. The enclosed garden was great for the dogs too. Peaceful location but still close to all sorts of interesting places and not far from the sea!

Could of been done with a brush and shovel to be able to keep the floors clean, also utensils for the indoor fire, as there wasn't anything there to use.
GBThe location was great for exploring the area, nice and peaceful, great for taking our dog for walks. Nice secure garden for dogs. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette had everything we needed for our short stay. Lots of choice of takeaways, etc in Insch approx 5 miles away.
Whilst there was a woodburning stove for us to light, it would be better for the guests to have use of the central heating. We arrived back late and it was too late to light the stove, the towels used that morning for a shower were not dry (hung up but still wet the next morning), maybe a good idea to have the towel rail on a timer? We were not happy about having to bring our rubbish home.

GBThis place is amazing. So quiet, so peaceful and very relaxing. Nice big garden for the dogs and it was nice to open the doors and have the air and sun coming in. Log fires are a nice extra. Would definitely book again. Host replied quickly when I had questions and the information he sent before the stay was very informative. Some reviews are negative regarding the toilet but it really wasn't that bad for a 2 night stay so I wouldn't let that put you off
Only because we had 2 dogs - having to take your own rubbish home wasn't handy as we had dog poo. Having an outdoor bin for dog bags and food waste would be handy as didn't mind taking away our recycling but doesn't put us off booking again.
