Limone d'oro

We stayed here for convenience between flights in and out of Athens. The property was clean and met our needs considering we were there literally to sleep only.

We had organised with the host for a transfer from the airport to the accommodation given the time of night. She informed me that someone would be waiting for us at the airport. Unfortunately, they weren't and we had to wait half an hour to be picked up late at night. We also tried to arrange transport for early the next morning, but she was not accommodating with the time and did not offer any other suggestions. As a result, we had to spend some of the night trying to organise a taxi instead of getting the sleep we needed. The description of the house on Booking.com also does not include the information that it is down an unsealed, rocky road which makes it very difficult to wheel a suitcase along to get to the main road to meet a taxi. It is not a particularly nice neighbourhood and there were a number of dogs barking throughout the night. The location is actually not that convenient to the airport either as it is at the far side of the runway; there is no public transport to the airport along this route.

Nice place, clean and all basic amenities available. Great kitchen! Room was spacious and several options to sleep in. The bath/shower was comfy overall but there was a bit of a smell coming from the drains. The AC was working well on a hot greek night!

The surrounding area was pretty loud, because some neighbors dogs didn't stop barking...pretty much the whole night.
