I recommend this B&B! I spent here 3 days with my partner in April and we were very happy with our visit! The owners were very welcoming, breakfast handmade and tasty. Our room was cleaned very thoroughly every day. Big plus that there was a free parking. Bed was comfortable and big, the room was quiet. Location was good, however it required a bit of walking up the mountain, but there is a bus station close by which would make it easier to commute. There was a restaurant owned by the same owners and a few other restaurants near the location. Scala is a small town but there was a bigger one down the mountain - Ravello. A big plus of staying in Scala are really breathtaking views!

This BB was locally owned. Milton was our host, along with his sister and brother. They were so nice! Very helpful! The food was amazing. The sister made breakfast pastries that were out of this world. They have a pizzeria right next to the BB and the food was so good! We were upset that the restaurant was closed the second day we were there. We were looking forward to eating there again. I guess Tuesday they take a break. 🙃 Easy parking, and free! This small town was so cute! It is close to Ravello and Amalfi.

The bed was really hard. Our backs hurt from sleeping on the bed for 2 nights. We almost didn’t stay a second night because of the hard bed, That’s how bad it was… this is very unfortunate because very thing else was so awesome… except the shower. We did not take a shower for 2 days… I know, gross… but the shower was literally so small we didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower… the shower is a make shift plastic piece that they put in the corner of the bathroom. You have to enclose yourself in a plastic according style closure that isn’t big enough to doing anything but stand… it was just weird and we weren’t doing it. We decided to wash off in the sink instead. Also unfortunate because the hosts and place was so awesome. I think with upgraded mattresses and an improved shower this would be the PERFECT place in Scala!
