Red Roof Inn Byron

The 2 front desk staff who checked me in were extremely nice and helpful.

Friendly staff, clean room and handicap acce. TV was wonky that was a pain. But nice hotel.

They ran out of room keys, no breakfast, floors in room were dirty, bed sheets had black stains.

There was no wifi and the tv would not pick up service There were no towels or wash rags in the room Could get no one to get any.would not amswer. Phone amd no one at front desk just a note that they were out of office leave card on the counter Could get no one to get me any towels.

the best hotel ever

This Red Roof Inn faces a semi empty lot filled with garbage and what looked like a homeless person's tent. All the room are entered from outside, like a motel which was fine except some of the rooms (including the one next to ours) had a huge rodent trap in front of it. I did not see any rodents but having them in plain sight was quite distracting. Room itself was worn but very clean. Stayed here because I was traveling with dogs and the grassy area was quite a way from our room. Staff were very friendly and offered assistance if I needed anything but unfortunately they couldn't change the location.

We stopped here on our way to Florida. Everything was nice and the beds were comfortable. The check-in lady got us in and to our room with just a signature. My only complaint is the walls are thin, and you could here all the traffic outside. Nice place to stop.

Front desk stayed up late to greet us at 1:30am. Informed us of no room keys, machine was broken?? He opened door and ket us in, wasn't a huge deal because we crashed right away. Next morning, needed 2 more towels so everyone could shower, but front desk wouldnt respond to phone or messages.
