Piso moderno en casco antiguo próximo a la playa

Home from home 🏡 right in the old town, lovely and clean. 5 minutes from the beach⛱️ plenty of restaurants around the area, host was lovely 😍 👌 even left us complicated drinks In the fridge. Would definitely stay here again, when staying in Alicante.

The apartment is renovated and includes some thoughtful touches, such as drinks in the fridge at arrival and coffee pods. The location is truly excellent — very central and convenient for exploring the city.

Unfortunately, we had several issues during our stay. The apartment has an unpleasant smell, and the bathroom gets completely flooded every time you take a shower, which is very uncomfortable. Additionally, the sofa bed I was supposed to sleep on was in no condition to be used — it was completely broken. The owner didn’t provide bedding at first; I had to ask for it. When it was finally brought it and I went to make the bed at 10:00 p.m., I realized it was impossible to sleep on it. On top of that, the sheets they brought didn’t even fit the mattress. When I pointed it out to the owner, he said they were “universal,” but he then tried for several minutes to put them on himself and couldn’t manage to fit them either. The owner came in person, but didn’t apologize or offer any solution or compensation, even though I had paid for a proper bed, not to sleep on a broken mattress as if I were camping. The most serious part is that he already knew the bed was broken before renting the apartment out, and still allowed other people to sleep in those conditions. After insisting, calling customer service, and putting pressure on him, the bed was finally fixed — but the whole situation was very unpleasant and disappointing.

The perfect word to describe this piso is: correct. You get exactly what you expect: nothing more, nothing less. If it's luxury you want, it's not it. But it certainly is a normal flat, just like your flat, maybe. It's spacious enough (bigger than what I've seen in Alicante so far). Clean. Nothing missing in terms of what you would normally need in a house. Super fast responses from the host. Central and I particularly liked the little square 2 steps away where there are 3 bars\restaurants. Not a noisy street.

Great shower, lovely modern kitchen, efficient air con/heater, good large tv. Spacious apartment. Drinks in the fridge on arrival. Would recommend and definitely book again. We cut short our holiday because of the bad weather but the owner was great and refunded us some money as he managed to re-let the apartment.

Bed a little small for 2 people, pillows clean but need replacing, bedroom main ceiling light very dim and no bedside lights. Balcony looks out on to demolished building.

The check-in and check-out process was great. The host was very friendly and accessible. The location is perfect!

The apartment was fine but could do with a deep clean as it was quite dusty.

- great localization - easy check in/ out - posibillity to leave luggage in the corridor (as per host advice) - comfortable for max. 3 people - free snacks, drinks in fridge and coffee

- apartament was not prepared for 3 people as per reservation so i needed to ask for additional bedsheet. The bedsheets was clean but not super fresh
