Owner is lying about the property. In the offer there was breakfast included that we pay for but we have never received. Refund promised - also not received. The property itself is quite ok but has basement smell. Shower is in poor condition and water pressure is very low - difficult to take a shower. You can get much better place in Agrigento with simillar price.

Room was durty. Had cigarette pack in the bedside table?! Room was cold and no extra blankets. Room was paid with breakfast included, but there was none. And we figured it out on the morning, with two kids -hungry, and parents- left with no coffee-There was not even a cup inside the room, so to fix up instant coffee. THERE have not been breakfast served there for at least 6 months or so! No Intention for such - at all. At the end the host even canceled our reservation as no show, offered to refund for the missing breakfast but nothing happened! Keep in mind when booking!

Clean, functional room and with a nice view. Contrary to some recent reviews, we did get breakfast…..albeit a simple one with croissants and coffee/bottled juices. Free Parking was easy to find around. Negative: Musty, moldy smell in the house. The room itself does not smell though. The staircase is really narrow to carry suitcases. The double bed is sagging in the middle and we had an uncomfortable night trying to sleep in a saggy incline! Shower head needs replacement…….

Only the view was positive but partially because there were also some demaged, old roofs visible.

The owner lies offering the breakfast. I was informed in the evening after check-in that due to some renovation we will not have the breakfast (he did not know earlier?)!!!! Instead he offered to refund for the fact but of course he did not finally give me the cash back. At the same time he cancelled the reservation to avoid paying taxes and profit to Booking. There was also lack of hot water in the bathroom. When I asked the owner of the problem, he informed me that it is due to bad weather!!!! It was rainy day. That is true, in the EU country, in XXI century - your hot water depands on the weather!!! Moreover, there was also the washbowl plugged in the bathroom. The staying there was a nightmare....lackily we were there only one night.

Location was good

Everything. Host refused to pick up my calls. Said in the evening that breakfast could not be provided ‘due to health reasons’ but did not provide information of how he would provide any alternatives. Hot water not working in shower. We are a family of four with kids and we could not shower in the morning! The shower drain was also clogged! When I called the host he refused to pick up. He also ‘cancelled’ my booking saying I didn’t turn up which didn’t make any sense. Se said he will provide a refund and reimburse me for breakfast but never did. He wanted me to lie that I wasn’t there? I don’t understand why?!? Scam!!!

It’s tough to maneuver luggage and stairs as the staircase is quite narrow and steep.

Filipe was a wonderful host to deal with , priced great and easy instructions on how to get into the old town and where to park or free. Loved living in the old town. The size of the room was great (we took a room with 2 double beds for extra space) . The view on the 3rd floor (room 3) was exceptional. Looked out to the sea across the Valley of the Temples. Plenty of pillows , clean linen and fresh towels every day if needed. Bed was firm so not for soft bed sleepers. We liked it. Even a view from the bathroom. 3 little balconies but you could sit out on them (too small) . A small clothes line that was handy but bring your own pegs. Good aircon and plenty mirrors and large wardrobe and drawers . Fridge was great and some beer provided but we don’t drink beer . Would have preferred a bottle water. Water pressure was fantastic. Would definitely come back . Breakfast was huge with lots of choice of fruit , yoghurt, juice, croissants and cakes .

Nothing except maybe some savoury items for breakfast as we are not sweet tooth’s
