Value was good. Nice suburban area, 10 minute walk to downtown.

No contact with owner. Called number several times with no answer.

The apartment was spacious. The water temperature and location were excellent. The wifi was strong and reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware, except wine glasses. The faucet water was tasty. The elevator was right outside the apartment. The surrounding area was safe. It is within walking distance to the ocean, shopping, and restaurants. It's about 20 minutes to the airport.

The address was unrecognizable to local taxi companies. The taxi I used upon arrival didn't recognize the address provided on 2 different correspondences. He saw the name of the company on a building and drove there. He laughed and said good luck after an employee came down to get me. The taxi driver called the number I was given but it didn't work. His dispatcher helped him contact someone in the building (I'm summazing what he shared with me.). The employee who came down, didn't recognize the address I showed him on my confirmation email. After transferring me to his vehicle, we went to 2 locations before finding the right apartment. I really really appreciated his personal excellent customer service. I quickly learned to stand outside to wave for a taxi or go to the building next door, where I assume the provided address was for. It would have been extremely helpful to have an operating manual for the stove and oven. I have no experience operating an electric stove or oven. Luckily YouTube was available. The bed was not comfortable so I slept on the couch. It also would have been nice to have a television in the bedroom. I always bring my own linen but I noticed the towels and bedding looked and felt worn, including the linen I found in the closet. Shoveling the balcony should have been done as that was definitely a deciding amenity, that I couldn't use because the snow blocked the balcony door and there was no shovel for me to move it. Other suggestions for customers not familiar with the area are restaurants, public transportation information (a recent apartment experience provided a fare card with instructions on how to use it), map of the area, things to do, emergency services number, and A WORKING CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER. There was a loss of power for nearly an entire day. I had to "figure out" what to do. A power outage is unforeseeable, but in this area it's not unexpected. The number provided no help.
