La Cala de Alcalá Luxury

The Flat La Cala de Alcala Luxury is a fantastic vacation rental with a great private terrace. The flat is, well-equipped, and situated in a small and charming village. It is not very touristic so you have more local restaurants. You can walk to the sea where you have a direct swimming possibility 200 metres from the flat. Playa la jaquita is more comfortable (around 1 km). I highly recommend it for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Good location, close to ocean and services. Bus station nearby. Verry attentive sfuff and always available. Flat on very good condition, new and clean. Well equipped kitchen. Good wifi in the livingroom and by lan cable from the bedrooms (can take up to 3 zoom calls in parallel, but rememberyour lan cable adaptor). Recommend, if you get a flat that is not the one on top of the bar.

We had the flat at 1st floor, above the bar. Noise was the highlight of our stay. Noise from the main street if you keep the living door open. Noise from neighbor bedroom rooms or back house, you can hear literally everything, can recognize the language they speak and what they do. Very disturbing noise (the ventilation going on for hours) and vibration of the speakers from the downstairs bar, until 12am every night. As we worked remotely the 3 weeks we stayed there, it was a nightmare. We asked the lady in charge, she was very fast to ask the bar to stop ventilation or music, but we were almost attacked by the bar owner why we complain. I showed him messages and the audio we took, he was very rude and dismissive. No bed linen and towel change in the flat, you need to ask, after first 2 weeks. The flats at first floor have no access to the deck terrase, and no way you can dry your clothes - not possible on the front balcony, only in a small interior open space, that has no sun or breeze, so the clothes remain dump and smelly. Ensure you don't get the flat over the bar. At the end, it was not worth the money for us, cause is quite expensive for the area.

Location. Very well equipped. Bright and clean. Easy check in and check out. Great shower. Quick responses from letting agency.

We had no use of solarium. This wasn't clear on the listing. Lots of pictures show the solarium but only 2 units have access to it.

Everything is new and very clean. Excellent location within a short walk of all facilities. Communication was first class and I was allowed to stay for a few extra hours with no problems. Balcony was great for afternoon sun and air conditioning was very efficient. The whole area is more relaxed, more Spanish and much cheaper than Los Gigantes. Wonderful bars and cafes. I loved it.

Modern apartment with good facilities. Easy online check-in. The host was always available per whatsup. The location is fine, near the promenade leading to the playgrounds and beaches.

The bedrooms were fine, however the living room was way too small. Very small sofa, fitting hardly two people and also ubstable, which is not so great with a child climbing on it.

We always found a parking space but sometimes it was tricky to find one near the apartment.
