Dream Stays Bath - John Street Apartments

Fantastic location. The apartment had everything you needed for a real home from home feel.

The apartment itself was incredible, it had everything we needed, was comfortable, had plenty of room for the two of us! Couldn't have picked a better location either, within walking distance of pretty much everything, lots of places to eat nearby too. The staff members I spoke to via message were very helpful and always replied rather quickly! Would definitely book here again!

If I had to seriously nit pick, it would be that the lift wasn't working. I'm disabled and picked somewhere with a lift but can manage a few stairs, the staff were helpful and did tell me that if I needed help they would carry things up and also changed my room to a lower floor. Wouldn't be suitable for a wheelchair user though. There was also scaffolding nearby that we weren't warned about and the workers woke my friend up rather early in the morning, but it wasn't a massive issue really!

Great location - bit noisy with scaffolding next door but we were up and about anyway.

Needs a can opener in kitchen

Location was central but a map in the apartment would have been useful, as it was, we had to spend ages walking around to find places/get our bearings.

Entry instructions didn't come through as promised - had to keep chasing and then collect from nearby hotel. Scaffolding everywhere and fully blocking any view from bedrooms. No city view as promised - front looked onto wall and building opposite's windows. Not sufficient room for 5 adults. Retrieving keys difficult/dangerous had to squeeze head between wall and scaffolding pole. No welcome pack - bare minimum of everything. Kettle switch had to be held to work. Beds way too small and too soft. Sofa bed had hard bar down middle. Big stains on carpet leading to apartment. Extremely noisy, Worst of all, lift was out of action and hosts had known for weeks and not warned us. One of our party was recovering from double knee replacement so climbing all the stairs was dreadful as it was for rest of party - all 60+. I could go on. Definitely not what I'd call a luxury apartment and very disappointing

Nice and spacious in an ideal location for sightseeing while still being out of the way of any noise.

Was a little chilly at points and the kitchen could have been better equipped with essentials like oil, salt etc

Great central location, really clean and well presented

Mattress needs replacing and could be loud at times from the street
