INThe cottage had a really earthen feel which produced great ambience. The food was excellent, and the in house chef couple provided nice, tasty food. The horse riding experience was fantastic- we could also observe the horses (Maya and Reshma) in the stables. General staff attitude was helpful and friendly. The property does not have any cell connectivity, which really helps you digitally detox, connect with nature.
Room maintenance to be improved: Two of the the three electrical points in the room didn't work. The ventilation in the room is really poor. There are a lot of musquitoes buzzing in the ear at night (good knight in room didn't seem effective), and since there is no ceiling fan, had to bear the loud noise of the provided pedestal fan. Room facilities are basic- no coffee/tea packets though kettle was provided. There is no running hot water, only 7-9 in morning and evening (though evening it wasn't there due to some issue).
INThe place is quite clean and away from city chaotic noise. If you want to disconnect from all world, it's a good place to be. No mobile network and no internet. The whole place is quite big and and surrounded with lush green trees. U have cycle around, play cricket & if u r interested in horse riding then u might love it.
We booked villa rooms through booking.com . When we arrived the management denied the booking stating that they are not aware of such booking. Later we have to settle for log cabins. The cabins are nice, but it is quite small in size. You have to be really careful with ceiling heights.
INININININGreat place overall for someone who wants to spent sometime in nature. You can feel time slowing down in the place which is great.
The accommodation includes food in the the dining area. Somehow the food always seems to be finishing or almost finishing and sometime you have to wait if you need some more servings, which makes having food awkward sometimes.
ININThe property was very peaceful and serene. The owner has a keen eye for good species of plants. There were different kinds of plants of fruits, flowers, medicinal herbs etc. food was simple and homely. The taste was good. We had a wonderful relaxed time. Thank you to the owner Ms Kamath. We will soon visit again.
