The establishment did not exist.my friend and I arrived early morning as arranged to find the shabby building on the wrong side of town locked with metal grill gates and padlock. No staff on site,we called out rang the telephone number displayed and a gentleman came and this is not a tourist hotel but a place People live. He was annoyed to have been woken but also tried to help by phoning the number displayed. At 6.30am we gave and took a taxi spending a couple of hours trying to find a hotel that had two rooms. I was incredulous to see that before the day had closed the establishment cancelled my booking and denied my refund of £150. By anyone standards that is a lot of money but against the rupee that is a small fortune. I put the equally on booking.com and the Fab hotel, which you probably don't know is a franchise. Some are legitimate and some completely bogus. The building did not resemble the photos at all when arrived we thought it was the wrong place. I intend to take this matter further because in the UK we have trade description laws and as booking.com operates in the UK I will be seeking legal advice and will claim my £150 back. Booking.com must check that establishment actually exist and are providing the service advertised. Two women travelling from the UK should not find themselves homeless on arrival. Unacceptable and appalling!!!!
