The location was great, the room was well decorated, and I found the bed very comfortable.

I was under the impression that this is a hotel -- it is not a hotel, it is an airbnb. I wish that had been more clear on the page. The AC/heating didn't work very well - I ended up having to open the windows because it was so hot in the room. I didn't like that because it's an airbnb, I had to wait for/coordinate my arrival with a specific person and their availability instead of just arriving at the time I had specified when I booked the room. Also, the property is not listed as Royal Olympus Verona in person or on google maps -- I believe this is to avoid the online reviews saying it's not a hotel but an airbnb. That made it very hard to find, I had to ask the person running their WhatsApp to text me directions at their availability.

I didn’t like the way the accommodation was handled. Throughout our communication, we were told that everything would be prepared and how much they were looking forward to our arrival. We were asked to contact them 10 minutes before arriving, since check-in wasn’t possible before 3:00 PM, which I understand—even though we were already in the area from 10:00 AM. However, at 2:50 PM, just before arrival, the lady called me saying that the room was suddenly flooded and that we would have to find accommodation ourselves. She ended the call with an ironic “bye.” Disgusting and unacceptable behavior. And what a coincidence.
