The cleanliness was not to a very good standard really not happy but a bad vibe on our stay 😞

We had a lovely stay, Helen was in contact with us at every stage. We were told that there had been some renovations and that we had the opportunity to move property. We chose to stay and everything was fine. The home was beautifully clean, warm and very comfortable. My 83 year old mum was very comfortable and happy as was my 17 year old daughter. The neighbourhood was quiet. Convenience stores nearby, and takeaways. Helen was so helpful and took time out to help out friends. She is an angel. The perfect host. I highly recommend this as a place to stay and will be back in a couple of months. Thanks Helen,

The moment we left and closed the door behind us the only positive about this location! Avoid it like the plague!

The fact the floor was completely flooded up upon arrival Dirty used tissues in the corner of a room and s**t stained tracksuit bottoms dumped in the room to be left for us to find!

The bedrooms were nice

Everything else. Overgrown bushes and rubbish when we arrived. Blinds falling apart, Back garden a disgrace and wouldn't let my dog out there as empty bottles lying around. overgrown weeds everywhere. Tried opening window in bedroom as very warm and the latch almost came off. I travel to Darlington often and this is the worst to date. I am being generous with a 4...... if living area only it would be a 0. Worried about rats as we left as warm weather and piles of rubbish at the front. Took plenty more photos of the place but will let you decide.

Very spacious Easy to park Close to town centre

1. Two toilets were dirty 2. Bins weren’t empty in the property from the last person & the main black bin outside was full. 3. Body hair in one of the beds from someone else, even in the bathroom floor & sides, long black hairs which stuck to one persons socks there was that much in the main bathroom. 4,Dirty towel in downstairs toilet 5. Glasses & kitchen utensils were filthy, I had to wash everything in the kitchen, forks had food on them, oven trays had burnt food on them. 6. There wasn’t anything to clean with in the house, only a small amount of washing up liquid so I had to buy some anti bacterial wipes to clean. 7. There’s a shower that drips permanently, very annoying when trying to sleep. Very disappointed, as it’s a great house & if the cleaning standards were better then we would have definitely stayed again.
