The Old Wood Store

Perfect place for an overnight stop, in a beautiful setting on a farm. Very close to the gorgeous beach at Poldhu. The room is very clean and thoughtfully furnished with a very comfortable bed and high quality bedding and towels. The renovation has been done to a high standard. Communication with the owner was excellent and very helpful and welcoming.

This wasn’t a problem for us but the bathroom is long and narrow. It’s less than a metre wide, so not much room to turn around and you won’t have enough space to dry yourself in the bathroom itself. Having said that the facilities are excellent with a good drench shower head.

We were extremely impressed by the room and the atmosphere! It's an absolutely stunning place to stay for a couple of days. It had everything we needed: WiFi, hot water, tea, coffee, a kettle, and even a French press. Ben and his family were nice and welcoming. You can see how much they care about their guests in every little detail. We will definitely be back in the future! Thank you very much!
