NZAmazing wee batch. Very homely. Spotlessly clean. Excellent view with added bonus of seeing so many native birds in the lagoon. Walks around the lagoon and beach were a highlight - great location. Host was very accommodating for our last minute reservation and we really appreciate the kind late check out offer.
Overall it was 99% perfect. Could do with a couple of minor upgrades (a better working can opener, one stove top element is a bit slow) but that's what you'd expect from a batch.
NZThe location was stunning - you couldn't have asked for better. The home had a warm and cozy feel to it. The seating on the deck outside overlooking the lake was divine.
White carpet everywhere with strict guidelines about calling a chemical company or them about any spills and being charged. Makes it NOT kid friendly. The double bed was upstairs not practical for older people. The single beds where downstairs. Upstairs is a landing so the light and noise for those staying up would made it hard for those up the very steep stairs to sleep. The bath area gets very slippery. So my elderly parents slept in single beds down stairs which wasn't ideal. None of us felt comfortable having a coke or coffee around the while carpets. So the view was divine but the expectations for those living in the home need adjusting - or darker carpets and swapping the single/double bed around.
NZWe had such a lovely time, the location is excellent and the house felt like a real home away from home. Amazing bird life just around the corner, you can just relax on the veranda and enjoy the views. The house is very well equipped and has everything you might need.

NZLovely location looking out to the lagoon. Very quaint and rustic bach. Was great to have the fire with plenty of firewood as it was a very chilly night when we stayed.
NZGorgeous bachy feel to the house, it was cosy and comfortable. Jenny provided really helpful and welcoming information. Location is beautiful, quiet, peaceful and relaxing.
CKLocation is beautiful, so serene beside the lagoon and short walk to the beach. Very well equipped kitchen, I appreciated the tea, coffee, cleaning products and firewood. More than ample linen and heaters.
GBLocation is perfect. And the house is very comfortable.
