Außerwöhnlich!!

Abwasch schwierig

Beautiful building, large room, comfortable bed. Plenty of places to put things. No stairs except a couple of steps at the entry. Good breakfast over the road at the Penzance Promenade Hotel.

Needs a hand rail in the shower and a soap dish! Felt strange not having a toilet door...

Superb room. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. I used to be a chambermaid so when I say the room was clean, it was exceptional. The location was fabulous - 30 seconds walk to the seafront prom. I didn't get the cream tea others have talked about - was it something I said!!!

I could hear the television next door and upstairs and I could hear a lot of walking around upstairs. This was a shame given the fantastic room.

The written description of the hotel room bears no relation to reality. The bathroom is not separated from the bedroom. It is most unpleasant staying in a room where the wc and shower are all part of the main bedroom with just a low partition wall separating the bed from the wc. This room could easily have been designed with an enclosed bathroom with walls extending to the ceiling and a door. Who wants to listen to their partner performing on the wc? We were offered the use of the separate wc on the floor above. Not that convenient if required in the night.

On our second night, whilst occupying our room, we mysteriously received a message to say that our reservation had been cancelled. Booking.com immediately messaged to check if this was the case. It was clearly a ploy to prevent me from leaving a review.

Property was okay

The host were really bad and rude, they were so aggressive at the time of our leaving, when we arrived in the morning we were all out for the day till 4 in the evening, after that we came and 10 am was our clock out, both the husband wife was there and came inside our room and stated shouting to leave the property, after requesting thousand times can they go out for 5 mins and we could change and pack our bags, that lady said change now in front of her husband, on which my husband and me got really angry and said we going to call the police, after heated argument they left the room, but still after few minutes his husband came to the room and asap we left the room, its not worth it, at starting they show they are nice to you but once its time to check out they are not the same, so please don’t opt for this property, crazy and stupid hosts.

Beautiful rooms, very spacious. Great location.

Mit einer Nespresso- Maschine und 2 Kaffeekapseln pro Tag und Person wäre die Pension für uns perfekt! :-)

The Old Club is a beautiful property close to all the amenities in Penzance. The room was very large with the most comfortable bed and fantastic shower/ bathroom area. Jayne, the owner has thought of everything, including a fridge and utensils to allow for meals to be eaten comfortably. The cream tea on arrival was a real treat. I would definitely recommend this property.
