La Llana Beach Casa Ensa

We recently stayed at La Llana Beach Casa Ensa and overall had a pleasant experience. The property itself is modern, clean, and exactly as described in terms of its internal rooms and facilities. However, from the online photos, we initially had the impression that it was a two-storey property with a terrace, so it was a bit surprising on arrival to find it’s actually a single-storey ground-floor unit. That said, it was comfortable and well-equipped, making for an easy and enjoyable stay. San Pedro Del Pinatar was within 20 min walk and had plenty of great tapas restaurants. A further drive brought us to the beautiful Playa de Mil Palmeras beach, which we visited often.

We felt extremely misled by Kuma Luxury Resorts. Services in their welcome email (private chef, beach yoga/pilates, discounted transfers, vineyard tours, bike hire) were either unavailable or not as described. Chef “no longer available,” yoga/pilates 20+ mins walk away, transfers doubled for our family of six, and we were wrongly told a car wasn’t needed, in reality, the property is far from most amenities with no taxis or Uber locally. The complex was mostly owner-occupied, unwelcoming to renters, and not child-friendly, strict pool rules (no ball games, mandatory showering before use), plus a filtration problem left the pool cloudy. Two days were disrupted by loud maintenance works repairing steps. The property next door had a camera aimed directly at our terrace with a light on constantly, intrusive and possibly outside GDPR rules. Returning keys required a 20-min walk to Kuma’s office (not disclosed), adding taxi costs. Overall, not as promised and unsuitable for families.
