The house is extremely comfortable with all the facilities and equipment you need. The shower is particularly good with really hot water and powerful. The heating works well. The location is quiet and very convenient for popping into Tobermory although you do have to take the car. There is a secure shared garden which we didn't use but with kids it would be great. Very clean.

I know Tobermory so I wasn't caught out about needing to take the car to get into town but it's worth knowing that although it's not far there is a very steep hill down from the top road where the house is. It's also worth knowing in terms of the house that the second double is up some steep stairs which might not suit everyone. I did feel that it was rather overpriced for what we got and considering that the housing estate that the house is on isn't very pretty.

great creature comforts, so nice to feel at home when traveling! very comfortable beds, easy to use kitchen with stocked supplies like olive oil, salt & pepper, knives, etc. incredibly easy to cook, make coffee - GREAT nespresso machine, and so wonderful to be able to do laundry! we only used the upstairs bedroom and it was airy, comfortable, and well lit. the linens on the bed felt like luxury hotel linens!!

bathroom would be great to have somewhere to hang a hand towel by the sink, or towels after the shower that isnt just the heated rail. front window only has blackout curtains, so if you want to have privacy in the evening you have to choose between no natural light at all, or completely open to the street, but not a huge deal. would love soft pads for the chairs and coffee table as they scrape a bit on the floor with no rugs.
