La Casa di Filippo

We have stayed in over 76 vacation rentals and this was by far one of the best! The apartment is so comfortable and the lovely owners have thought of everything. Daniela was excellent with communication and there were losts of lovely surprises. The location is excellent, close to the market and an amazing bakery. We would highly recommend this apartment.

I liked everything I think: - apartment was very clean and spacious - beautiful interiors! - very cozy - felt like at home, owner though about every detail.. Even small soaps in the basket.. Or choice of tea, coffee and snacks in the kitchen 🤩 - quite good location, close to central station and the market - price vs conditions.

- I didn't feel completely safe roaming around after sunset. Always there were standing some people, who looked bit suspicious 😉

Great place, location, cleanliness, comfort, amenities and very thoughtful and attentive hosts. I highly recommend it!

The cordiality of the family. We arrange a pickup from the airport by the family. They gave us directions so we could orient to the city. We were not cramped for space at all.The closeness of the market and everything was walkable in the old city.

A bit noisy at night. Especially Sunday morning when they started setting up an animal market down the street at 5:30 am!

We had a whole flat for ourselves, much bigger than our own home. Tastefully furnished and full of light. Incredibly spacious rooms and with a Sicilian finish to the internal decor; big wardrobe, kitchen with all facilities and a big table. Daniela e Sebastiano and her family made us feel welcome and were available at all times to give us tips and info to enjoy our stay in Palermo. The property was immaculately clean. They welcomed us with a tray of dolci siciliani from the local pasticceria and a bottle of Grillo (typical Sicilian wine): what a start! The fridge was full of drinks and fresh fichi d’india to taste. Wi-fi and TV. Perfectly located for both train station and for the unmissable Mercato Ballarò (foodie heaven) and all the main tourist attractions in Palermo.

Beautiful, spacious apartment on a charming street in the heart of Palermo, close to the main sights, restaurants, supermarkets and the train/bus station. The owners(?) were very friendly. Given the other options in the same price range when I booked, I think I lucked out.

A beautiful and spacious home. Location is excellent - after walking just 60 seconds you are in the historic Ballarò market, surrounded by luscious fruits, local delicacies, and bustling life. Despite this the apartment has good soundproofing - firm doors with shutters that can be open and closed. Air conditioning and a comfortable, wide bed ensured that every nights' sleep was peaceful. Wifi connection is very fast as well. The apartment has everything that you could need. Perfect for a short or longer stay.

The location can be noisy sometimes.
