Seriously disappointed with the stay. The host is extremely unwelcoming. We damaged the car when parking on the host's property and she did not even try to help us in any possible way. Did not respond to messages nor did she personally visit us to ask if she could help us in a foreign country. In contary to the advertisement, there is virtually no parking facility. The car of the host is parked on the property as well, which there is practically no space for the cars of guests. We got a message for the host at 11 PM to move our car, so she could go to work the next morning, something you do not want when you are on holiday. Access roads are very narrow as previously stated, and there is an extremely difficult access to the plateau in front of the accommodation, even with large holes between the road and the property. Parking at the cemetery is an option, but is at least a 10-minute walk, which is not recommended with all the luggage. The accommodation is in an extremely quiet area, with nothing to do in the evening. There are no restaurants nearby. The centre of Cernobbio is over 45 minutes walk or 15 minutes (strenuous, with many hairpin turns) drive by car. No opportunity to sit outside. Inside, you get the feeling of being trapped. It is also extremely hot inside, the fans barely helping. If you are looking for a nice appartement near the lake Como, I do not recommend booking this appartement!

Host very helpful. Very nice touch to have chilled bottle of prosecco when just a single night's stay!

Very comfortable and spacious for our family of five adults. Well appointed so we had everything we needed even though our stay was only one night. This would certainly be a good place to stay longer and have more time to explore the area.

The drive up can be a bit stressful if you aren’t used to such narrow roads but we took it slow and were able to get our rented SUV to the property and into the drive way.
