"We loved the cottage, and its proximity to so many possible attractions made it a great stay."

8.0

A cosy cottage with off road parking for two cars at the rear of the property. It had everything needed for a family to stay with spacious rooms, large bathroom with good shower, extra loo downstairs, well equipped kitchen and spacious lounge/ diner. Small garden with table and chairs for outside dining at the back. It is very conveniently located to reach a multitude of places of interest within 30 to 45 mins drive, to suit all tastes.

The access from the drive onto the high street is slightly hazardous as it is on a corner, but fortunately there didnโ€™t seem to be a particularly large volume of traffic through the village when we visited.

"Lovely and relaxing"

9.0

Located in a sweet, sleepy village. Lovely local pub within a 3-minute walk and a co-op nearby. The property itself is far more spacious than the photos make out. Comfortable and the gas fire in the lounge keeps you toasty.

"Beautiful well equipped cottage centrally located in the village close to the amenities."

8.0

Condiments like cooking oil left in the kitchen. Plenty of towels. Decor excellent.

Only gripe was no black out blind in master bedroom at the front of the property. I had an eye mask so was not a problem for me. There is noise from the traffic outside but it is a period property with no double glazing so to be expected but location was perfect for us.

"Lovely house, we would stay there again. Thank you Anna."

9.0

The cottage was quaint but was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 adults- there should have been 6 of us but plans changed but it would have been fine for that number of guests. There house was well equipped with plenty of everything. It was warm and cosy. There was a local pub that we could walk to so we did not have to worry about driving. The location was good - near Shelton Mallet, Bruton, Castle Carey you could drive to places that were all in a short radius. .

There was nothing not to like. Just a few more glasses (beer glasses) would have been good.
