Tropical Vibes in the City of Tribes

Great location, easy checkin and plenty of room for all of us

Clean, the coffee and milk for morning was a nice touch. Close enough to city centre about a 10 minute walk. Close to grocery store.

No outside seating- nice weather coukd have enjoyed a drink in backyard.

Excellent location; close to Latin quarter and quiet

Walking distance of city, comfy beds, laundry facilities, really cute lounge room, great size kitchen.,

For price paid would have been nice for host to provide milk/juice/bread. Only one bathroom with only toilet inside it. Not only no parking but absolutely no car parking within the vicinity with signs up about car clamping everywhere, we parked at a paid car park leaving the car there for the three days, cost reasonable but made for a stressful start.

While there was nothing wrong with the property itself, the communication from the host was awful. The day of arrival we received no communication to how we were to check in, and when I called the number they sent me to voicemail automatically. We decided to make our way to the property and try to phone the number again. When I eventually got an answer, I was met with an extremely rude and patronising response from the women on the other end of the phone. Additionally, the sent us the wrong WiFi password and when I tried to contact them to get the right one- I had 0 responses the whole 4 days we were there. Meaning we went without internet connection for the whole trip. Such a shame as the property itself was everything we could’ve asked for, but the experience from the host and the way we were spoken to on the phone was not good.
