The apartment was not right in the centre, which was helpful for parking. There wasn't a lot of parking, but it was possible in the surrounding streets. The apartment was perfect for 5 of us, two doubles and a single. The living area had a little more room. Plenty of cupboard space, and the kitchen was a nice size for us. From the very outset, when I asked questions, Maria was always willing to go the extra mile, and I would highly recommend staying here. A walk to town for 15 minutes or so was easy for us, and we saw everything we wanted to. It's great for a small family. Thanks, Maria, we really appreciate your endless hospitality and always being so quick to respond to any questions. Nothing was too much for you - thanks, and we'll be back or we'll send our friends here for sure.

This is literally picking at things and not in anyway a reflection of what we thought of the apartment, but may influence others in terms of whether they want to stay here or not. There was air conditioning in two of the rooms where there were beds but the single room didn't have aircon. For us it didn't matter as we found it didn't get that hot, and the aircon from the main bedroom cooled the hallway and kept it cool enough. Again, I would stay here and we really did like it for many reasons.

It is a nice little apartment with several amenities. Beds were comfortable and it is nicely decorated. Relatively central. 15-20min walk to the centre and close to a main road with bus transport. A number of supermarkets and food places around.

The main issue we had is we booked this place because it had a late check out so we could go straight to the boat. The app stated check out 07:00-00:00 on the 14th. The day prior I receive a message from the owner saying we need to be out by 11am because the cleaner is coming. I explained to her that this isn't in accordance with the booking. She send a few stroppy messages and I contacted Booking.com, sent them the screenshots from the app confirming my account as to checkout time. They said the confirmation email stated 12p.m. as checkout time. I explained I did everything through the app and only used that, didn't check emails. They refused to provide further assistance and kept referring me back to owner. They acknowledged that there had been a mistake but I suffered the cost of it (I had to get another place and pay twice for taxis to transport me and my 3 children rather than just straight to the boat). Booking.com sent a very flowery email about excellent customer service etc but it is now going to 6 days since I initially contacted them and they have done nothing to rectify it or reimburse me for the added expenses in any way.
